The Rev. Canon J. Douglas Ousley has been the Chaplain in St. Moritz since Christmas of 2022. He has an undergraduate degree from Yale and did graduate work in philosophy and theology, including a degree from King’s College, University of London. He served churches in New York, Paris, and Rome before retiring from fulltime ministry in 2019. 

 In the Diocese of New York, Canon Ousley is the Bishop’s Chaplain to Retired Clergy, the Missioner for Congregational Support for New York City, and the Coordinator of the New York-London Diocesan Link Program. He is also an Honorary Assistant Minister at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Manhattan. In 2023, the Anglican Bishop in Europe put him in charge of the Anglican Cathedral on the island of Malta for a month. He occasionally reviews theology and philosophy books for the journal, Anglican and Episcopal History.
